Red fluid is pumped through two walls in synchronization. It raises and lowers according to 100 years of tidal charts for The Netherlands. One hundred years are compressed into the duration of the six-week exhibition. The white space volumetrically fills with red light. A silkscreened tank which reads 'Castigatio' fills as well, while a pharmaceutical starch 'Sounding Line' marked with stained gauze lays mangled below.
