| The piece consists of two back-projection screens and the space hoppers around. The interview was also made as text, there was a copy for each visitor. The two circles together reappear in the double-space hoppers, in the video of the session and in the music of bells which is the sound to the session. The conventional schematic drawing of a relationship is two circles put together. Sado masochism is an extreme way of expressing the power-relation between two persons. In the catalogue I present a negotiation form that is used in SM, if one plays with the thought and with a few changes in the text, it could be applicable to any work situation. The Dominatrix says in the inteview: For me, SM means a consensual agreed upon exchange of power. I find it an interesting statement living in a society where a lot of abuse is happening at home, at work and in the politics. I made the interview first, edited it and thought about what she had said. Six months later I went back, lived in her home for a month and bought a session with her.
